This artwork is named by Brittney Griner.
Brittney is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, six-time WNBA All-Star and she was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine in 2023. She is also a two-time FIBA Women's World Cup champion and the only NCAA basketball player with 2,000 points and 500 blocks.
As with most atletes, her triumphs have come with some major setbacks. The biggest of which came in February 2022, when she was detained and prisoned in Russia after cartridges containing less than a gram of medically prescribed hash oil, illegal in the country, were found in her luggage. In August she was sentenced to nine years in prison and was shortly after transferred to one of the harshest Russian penal colonies. In December she was released in a prisoner exchange for a Russian arms dealer.
In May 2023 she made her reappearance in the WNBA, receiving a standing ovation from the audience.
