Product Information
This artwork is named after Megan Rapinoe. Megan did not only have a stand-out career on the field, but she is also known for her activism, specifically to support and advocate for LGBTQIA+ athletes.
Throughout her career she suffered several major injuries, including torn ACL twice and later a torn Achilles tendon. Nevertheless, Rapinoe won gold with the national team at the 2012 London Summer Olympics, 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup, and 2019 FIFA Women's World Cup. She managed to win the Ballon d'Or and was named the Best FIFA Women's Player in 2019.
She was one of the Time's 100 Most Influential People in 2020 and received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2022 from Joe Biden.
This original pen and ink artwork is from the She's Got Balls series and is entirely made with tiny dots.
